The Independence Group was established in 2001 and is a Member-Owned Group Captive unique in the Captive industry. A select group of companies have taken control of their insurance program by forming their own company to provide Workers’ Compensation, General Liability and Business Automobile coverage. The discipline and safety leadership of this group has led to dramatic financial returns for its members. While growth has never been an emphasis, we are currently looking for a handful of new potential members to become partners in this unique business.
