From property damage perils, like a hurricane, to cyber perils that shut down a company’s network, there are many threats that can disrupt an organization’s operations. This seminar will review the process of evaluating and proactively managing the business continuity risks that endanger an organization. In-depth discussions will cover the business interruption exposures that may result from a disaster and the contingent exposure from the disruption of an organization’s supply chain. In addition, the exposure from an active shooter situation will also be reviewed, given the unfortunate increase in such events, and potential insurance solutions will be proposed.
