Chief Financial Officer
John Baxter joined The Graham Company as Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Baxter is responsible for leading all financial strategies and initiatives at Graham. With over 20 years of financial executive experience, his unique background combines financial and operational experience.
Before joining Graham, Baxter was the Vice President of Operations for a large commercial roofing company that services the eastern U.S. market. Baxter’s primary focus was to plan and execute strategies for scaling the operations for growth. Prior to this role, Baxter was the CFO for three various manufacturing companies over a 12 year span. In his capacity as CFO, Baxter worked closely with operations to improve operational efficiencies and adopt continuous improvement. He started his career in public accounting servicing a dynamic customer base. Baxter excels at collaborating with all stakeholders to solve the challenges and achieve the goals of a growing and innovative organization.
Baxter is currently an active member of the CFO Alliance, Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and Financial Executive Networking Group. He has been a past member of the Elizabethtown College Alumni Association (Past President), Elizabethtown College Leadership Council, Financial Executives International (FEI), American and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Savoy Company, a non-profit theater company.
Baxter’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Elizabethtown College. He also received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license two years after graduating from college.
