General Counsel
As General Counsel of the Graham Company, Christa Solfanelli supports client service teams by providing advice on coverage issues and monitoring emerging law on a variety of topics, including the interpretation of insurance policies. Christa works closely with the Claims Services Department to advise clients on complex claims matters and advocate on their behalf in order to maximize the coverage available under their insurance program. Prior to her role as General Counsel, Christa worked directly with clients to manage their insurance claims as a Claims Consultant.
Christa graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. After college, she attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and graduated in 2006. While in law school, Christa received semester honors and served as a clinician at the school’s Community Economic Development Clinic.
Prior to joining the Graham Company in 2015, Christa was a partner for a Philadelphia-based regional insurance defense firm. During her almost decade as a litigator, Christa gained extensive experience representing construction contractors in the context of jobsite accidents, defect claims and construction delay claims. In addition to this concentration, she defended a wide variety of insureds against professional liability and employment liability claims in federal court and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She was also repeatedly selected by her peers as a “Pennsylvania Rising Star,” in the area of construction litigation.
Christa is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also a licensed Insurance Agent.
