Garrett is a well-traveled safety professional, having worked in Arizona, California, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, D.C., New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Most recently, Garrett worked for one of the nation's largest mechanical contractors on projects ranging from 1.4-million-square-feet to 1.9-million-square-feet, with the Atlanta Falcons Mercedes-Benz Stadium Project and the Penn Medicine New Patient Pavilion being the most notable. While working for a global manufacturer and global energy company, Garrett gained experience in the manufacturing, oil, and gas industry, serving customers worldwide.

In 2020, Garrett joined the Graham Company's Safety Services Team, adding to its respected reputation for culture-driven consultation. At Graham Company, Garrett provides safety consultation services to construction industry customers with a focus on large construction wrap-up projects.

Garrett attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) graduating with a bachelor’s in Safety, Health, and Environmental Applied Sciences. Garrett is an Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) Authorized Construction Outreach Trainer and holds additional certifications including Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), and the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operator's (NCCCO) certified rigger and signalperson.
